Pre conference field trips will be held on Sunday June 4th and Monday June 5th. These trips will provide an opportunity to learn more about sustainability initiatives in the region before the welcome reception on June 5th at 6:30 p.m. A post conference trip will be also be offered on Thursday June 8th to visit the National Water Centre

Workshop

Building Effective Partnerships – A Learning Opportunity for Funders – Monday June 5 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Location: Delta Hotels Fredericton, Victoria Room

Join foundation colleagues for this one-day workshop which will explore the opportunities for partnerships to advance philanthropy’s goals, as well as their challenges.  The workshop will combine an overview of partnering principles; frameworks and practices with an exploration of the role donors can play in more effectively facilitating and supporting partnerships. Field Trips

Pre-conference field trips will be held on Monday June 5th before the welcome reception starting at 6 p.m. There will be opportunities to join either morning or afternoon tours to learn more about sustainability initiatives in the region and/or to visit the popular attractions of Fredericton city. 

Note: The registration fee covers all meals, snacks and transportation that are indicated on the itinerary. The trip is subject to cancellation if the minimum number of registrations is not met.

Field Trip A: Bay of Fundy Exploration Day – Sunday June 4th, 10 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
(Note: Overnight stay at hotel on Saturday is recommended as trip departs on Sunday morning) Registration fee: $275

Field Trip B: Meduxnekeag Valley Nature Preserve tour Monday June 5th, Noon to 5:30 p.m.  Registration fee: $70

Field trip C: Sustainable Cities Bike Tour – June 5th, 2:15 to 5 p.m. Registration fee: $35

Field trip D: Visit to the National Water Centre – Thursday June 8th near Saint John. Registration fee: $80
