Sunday June 4th 10 AM to 7:00 PM (Note: Overnight stay at hotel on Saturday is recommended as trip departs on Sunday morning)
Come visit historic St Andrews New Brunswick, on the shores of the Bay of Fundy. Boasting the highest tides in the world, the Bay of Fundy is home to a dynamic and diverse marine ecosystem supporting many marine animals from lobster, to many fish, several species of sharks and even porpoise, seals and whales. St Andrews has long been a destination for visitors from near and far to enjoy a relaxed seaside setting, a beautiful and historic downtown, and famed Maritime hospitality. The Field Trip will include transport from Fredericton; lunch at the Atlantic Salmon Federation’s Wild Salmon Nature Centre; a boat cruise to see local wildlife, experience the power of the tides, and see active fishing communities; and time to explore historic St Andrews. The Fundy Baykeeper, Matt Abbott, will serve as your local guide.
