Where is the conference?

The CEGN 2019 National Conference will be held at The Kingbridge Conference Centre & Institute in Ontario (12750 Jane Street King City, L7B 1A3).  Hotel rooms are conveniently located on the property and steps away from the meeting and dining rooms.

Getting There:

Flying to Toronto, Ontario

CEGN encourages all conference participants to book flights early with Air Canada or WestJet. Both airlines offer discounts up to 15% exclusively for CEGN participants.  Please use the following links and promotion codes to book your flights online.

Things to note when booking with a discount code:

  • The flight is to be made in and out of Toronto Pearson International Airport (airport code is YYZ).
  • The travel period is for anytime from May 1st – May 16th, 2019.

 Driving to The Kingbridge Centre

The Kingbridge Centre is approximately 30 minutes away from the Toronto Pearson International Airport and 1 hour from downtown Toronto. If you are planning to drive, please check the hotel website for parking information (complimentary).

Public transit to The Kingbridge Centre

Local participants travelling by TTC can take the Line 1 subway to Vaughan Metropolitan Centre station and catch a 20-minute taxi ride up to the conference centre. Alternatively, York Region Transit operates buses up to Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre and you can take a 15-minute taxi ride up to the conference centre from there. Please check the public transit websites for subway and bus schedules.

 

Book your accommodation now!

Staying at the Kingbridge Conference Centre & Institute will provide you with the most convenient access to the conference sessions, meals, networking events and recreational facilities. A special room rate of $199/night plus taxes is available for all registered participants. If you have pre-arranged accommodation in the Greater Toronto Area, please inform CEGN at sandy@cegn.org.

The deadline to secure a single occupancy room is Monday April 8th, otherwise it is subject to availability. We encourage you to make your room reservation immediately after registering for the conference. You can book by calling the Kingbridge Centre directly toll free at 1-800-827-7221, between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EST or email reservations@kingbridgecentre.com  (indicate you are attending the CEGN conference). Please read the cancellation policy below before booking.

Participants needing overnight accommodation on pre/post conference days will have two options with lunch/dinner at a la carte prices: 1) hotel room only at $169.99/night plus taxes or 2) Bed & Breakfast package at $189.99/night plus taxes. Please inform the Kingbridge Centre on your option when making your room reservation.

 

Cancellation Policy at the Kingbridge Conference Centre

  • No refunds for room bookings will be issued for cancellations made after April 8th, 2019. Participants must contact the venue directly no later than April 8th, 2019 at 1-800-827-7221 before 5 pm Eastern or email reservations@kingbridgecentre.com before 11:59 pm Pacific to request for a full refund.
  • A transfer of your conference pass and accommodation to a colleague/Board member is accepted at any time before the event starts on May 7th. Please immediately inform CEGN if you can no longer attend due to unforeseen circumstances.

Conference Tickets Cancellation Policy

A full refund for pre-paid conference ticket(s) will be issued for cancellations that are made before April 8, 2019. Otherwise, registration fees will be refunded less a $250 cancellation fee per ticket. Partial refunds for cancelled tickets will be processed through your original payment method (by cheque or credit card via Eventbrite.ca).
