The Building Power for Climate and Nature Collaborative is working together to better resource power-building strategies that catalyze large-scale systemic solutions for climate and nature. This collaborative is building understanding of Canada’s ‘social movement ecology’ through original research, building capacity and sharing resources among funders, and creating a pooled fund that would support key power-building organizations and initiatives. This collaborative prioritizes equitable engagement, empowering grassroots, and strategic grant-making.

The Oceans Collaborative is working together to restore and protect healthy, productive oceans and coasts in Canada. The OC focuses on supporting Indigenous leadership and building stewardship and governance capacity; engaging, supporting, and mobilizing coastal communities and stakeholders; and advancing implementation of effective laws and policies to support healthy oceans and communities.

The Low Carbon Funders Group supports the coordinated efforts of leading ENGOs working to advance the implementation of strong federal climate policy in Canada. The LCFG pools and/or aligns significant resources to collectively support a collaborative ENGO proposal and strategy. Josha MacNab serves as program consultant for this collaborative, working with both the ENGO partners and the funders.
