IPCAs Funder Interest Group: IPCA Pathways in a Shifting Political Landscape (funders only) – NEW!

In this session, the Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCA) Funder Interest Group will explore how the current political and policy landscape is shaping the establishment and stewardship of IPCAs. Rather than featuring invited speakers, EFC will be holding discussions in advance with Indigenous leaders and other practitioners working in the field to gather perspectives from across the country and reporting back on what we’ve heard. These insights will help ground a discussion on the impacts of Canada’s development agenda on Indigenous-led conservation, emerging challenges and opportunities, and considerations for funders.
